Dianne brings to our Shepherdstown office the experience that comes from having practiced real estate since 1989. I moved to Harpers Ferry, WV in 2016. My decision to be licensed in WV, MD, and VA was easy, because I have lived and worked in all three, and know them well. Having owned several homes in WV, VA, and MD, I have extensive knowledge of area neighborhoods and markets including Loudoun, Clarke, and Frederick counties' in Virginia, Montgomery, Frederick, and Washington Counties in Maryland, as well as Jefferson, Berkeley counties in West Virginia.

The true measure of how well I have serviced a client is if they refer me to their friends and family, and a large part of my business is comprised of past clients and the referrals they have given me. I live on a small hobby farm with several chickens, goats, pigs, and donkeys, and my husband, Eric. We enjoy spending time with our grandchildren and pets.

In June of 2021, my wife and I were here for my best friend’s wedding.  They had moved to the Eastern Panhandle from Fairfax, Virginia 6 months prior, and were hosting both ceremony, and reception at their home.  The morning of, we were having breakfast when my wife said, “I could absolutely see us living here,” and we decided then and there to really investigate that possibility.  By December of that year, we moved from Northern Virginia to our lovely home in Harpers Ferry and I can tell you today, it is the very best decision we’ve made.

I’ve recently started my new career in real estate having spent the last 20+ years in operations management.  The most important thing my experience has taught me is that when you work as hard for your clients, as you would your family and closest friends, then both sides will always come out ahead.  That mentality has been key to my success the last 20 years, and it will be a key to my success for the next 20.

When I am not working hard to be the very best real estate agent I can be, I spend time with my lovely wife Jamie (a newly-licensed Nurse Practitioner), my two wonderful kids, Jack (my 5 year old soccer star who thinks he’s the Hulk), Parker (my 3 year old princess who loves to argue with me) and my two rescue dogs.  I enjoy visiting the many wineries and breweries in the area, a nice cigar, hosting events at my home, and losing money during a friendly poker game.  I also love to cook, with BBQ being my specialty.  I cure and smoke my own bacon, and yes ... I always make plenty to share.
